I know I’m posting this a bit late but this is the first time that I ever did a blog. I can’t let it slip and I want to share this with you guys this amazing experience. We book our hike with TakeFive Outdoors and I will be posting here our itinerary.
MT. ULAP HIKING
If you’re looking for a day hike and adventure, I would definitely recommend going on a Hike at Mt. Ulap. Mt. Ulap is situated at Itogon, Benguet Philippines with a breathtaking view of the Cordilleras with Pine and grassland along the trails. We are lucky enough to have a good weather on our hike and we saw a glimpse of the other mountains near including the Mt. Pulag, Mt. Ugo and Mt. Arayat.
Difficulty: 3/9, Trail class 1-3
Days required / Duration: 1 day / 4-6 hours
Hikers need to make a 10-minute detour to the barangay hall for registration and orientation of the guidelines (this is required). The trail starts with a ridgeline and later on surrounded by pine trees and its scenic views.
There are 3 peaks traversing along the trail. The first peak is the Ambanao Paoay. The second peak is the Gungal peak where in taking photos at the Gungal Rock is a must. The last peak is the Mt. Ulap that is measured 1846 MASL.
